Ruth Weller is a Scottish speaker, Bible teacher, and founder of House of Word and Spirit, an online ministry helping people encounter God through Scripture and live Spirit-led lives. As a former Pastor & Church planter (Re:Hope Southside), she now equips Christians to grow in biblical confidence and share their faith in an increasingly digital world.
RUTH WELLER
Eilidh Proudfoot grew up in the Highlands and Islands. She studied in Aberdeen and Glasgow before settling in Edinburgh where she lives with her husband and two children. She spent 16 years in education, teaching Business and Economics at secondary schools before moving into a pastoral role.
Eilidh left the classroom to lead up the work of Christian charity, Home for Good in Scotland before following a call to ministry. She completed an MDiv at the University of Edinburgh and following ordination in 2024 she serves at Ps&Gs church in Edinburgh.
Eilidh is passionate about helping people find belonging in church and enjoys finding ways to make big church feel smaller. Her favourite pastime is laughing until it hurts..
Eilidh Proudfoot
As Teaching Leader of one of the Aberdeen classes of Bible Study Fellowship, Mairi teaches, trains and leads women in a weekly, systematic study of the Bible. A qualified solicitor, Mairi did not return to her legal career after the birth of her first son and instead a door opened for her to pursue her passion for studying and teaching the Bible. Mairi worships at Deeside Christian Fellowship, where she is actively involved in the life and ministry of the church, including as a member of a launch team planting a church in Torry. Married to Peter, she is mum to three noisy boys, aged from 10 to 14, and two noisy girl schnauzers.
